BMFM Site Manager
The Berkshire Mobile Farmers Market Site Manager is the on-site lead at the markets, coordinating the market logistics with site hosts, shoppers, market ambassadors and volunteers. This is a seasonal, 25 hours/ week position requiring 3 days/week, with on-site work at the Berkshire Mobile Farmers Market sites during the market season (June through mid-October).
This job description relates to the Southern Berkshire sites: Becket, Monterey, and Wahconah Park in Pittsfield.
This is a non-exempt hourly position, $22 – 24/hour, dependent on experience.

BMFM Assistant Site Coordinator
In 2025 the Berkshire Mobile Farmers Market will operate at six locations across the county weekly from mid-June through mid-October. Berkshire Grown is hiring for one Assistant Market Site Manager to work at the Becket, Monterey and Wahconah Park (Pittsfield) market locations. This is a seasonal, part-time position requiring 3 days/week of on-site work at Berkshire Mobile Farmers Market sites and at the cold storage facilities during the market season. The position is 20-24 hours per week.
This is a contractor position paid at the rate of $21-22/hour, depending on experience.

BMFM Market Ambassador
Berkshire Grown is hiring a Market Ambassador for 6 mobile market sites. This person will be the community liaison to the market- welcoming and orienting people to the market, educating customers about the market payment structure, answering questions and helping to restock products. You may be a good fit for this position if you have excellent communication skills and are committed to working to develop racial equity and food justice in the Berkshires. The ideal applicant will be a member of the community where the market is located.
This is a seasonal, part-time position requiring approximately 4-5 hours/week per site, with on-site work outdoors at a mobile farmers market site from mid-June through mid-October. Compensation = $20/hour.
