MONTHLY GIVING

Join our community of monthly givers and make a difference for Berkshire Grown throughout the year! Monthly gifts are a convenient way for you to support Berkshire Grown’s work and provide us with reliable monthly income. Your pre-authorized gift is automatically debited from your credit/debit card each month.

Pay tribute to someone special with a gift that supports local farms and helps build a thriving, just local food system. These gifts are a wonderful way to commemorate a birthday or other special occasion or honor the memory of someone special.

Many supporters give to Berkshire Grown through a donor-advised fund (DAF) to benefit local farms and a thriving, just local food system. Through your DAF you can recommend grants to Berkshire Grown one time, monthly, or whenever you’d like to make a difference.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), also known as IRA Charitable Rollovers, allow individuals age 70½ or older to use their IRAs to maximize their charitable impact by making direct distributions up to $105,000 per year to 501(c)(3) charities without having to count the distributions as income for federal income tax purposes.

If you are age 73 or older and must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), your QCD gift can satisfy your RMD without increasing your income taxes.
