The Berkshire Grown Winter Farmers Market 2024-2025 season is being planned!
Berkshire Grown is in the planning stage of presenting it’s eight separate winter farmers markets. Please watch for updates about this announcement.
In Great Barrington, the six indoor Berkshire Grown Winter Farmers Markets will be held on the following Saturday dates: November 23, 2024, December 21, 2024, January 18, 2025, February 15, 2025, March 15, 2025, and April 19, 2025. The markets run from 10am to 2pm,The indoor markets return to Housatonic, a Village of Great Barrington, and will be held once again at the Housy Dome, 1064 Main Street, Houstonic, MA 01236.
In North County, Winter Farmers Market are planned to take place on Sunday, November 24 and Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 10am to 2pm, at GreylockWORKS, 508 Main Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
Both market locations showcase local musicians, performing across a variety of styles and genres.
The Winter Farmers Markets host farmers and producers from Berkshire County and the surrounding region. Vendors offer an abundance of locally-grown food, including fresh greens, winter squash, root crops, apples, meats, cheeses, honey and maple syrup, baked goods, and more.
Admission to the Winter Farmers Markets is free and food access is an integral part of the markets. Shoppers using SNAP will receive a match up to $30, and the HIP incentive reimburses shoppers who spend SNAP funds on fresh fruits and vegetables. SNAP and HIP can be processed at the market manager’s station, as well as at several farmers’ booths.
All markets are free and open to the public.
