CFAP makes direct payments to farmers of certain eligible commodities, including dairy, livestock (beef, pork, lamb), non-specialty crops and wool, and some specialty crops. Eligible producers of specified agricultural commodities who have suffered a 5% or greater decline as a result of COVID-19 and who face substantial marketing costs for inventories are eligible for CFAP payments.
