As we head into the off-season, it’s time to be thinking and planning for how to grow our farmers’ markets next season. Join us for this presentation and training to learn about programs to boost sales at your market next year! The presentation will be immediately preceded by a HIP Forum, and we encourage all market staff and volunteers who were involved in HIP this year to join us for this conversation! Additional info here.

Incentive Programs for Farmers’ Markets

Thursday, December 7, 6:30 – 8:00 pm

The Lee Library, 100 Main St, Lee

Our colleagues at CISA (Community Involved In Sustaining Agriculture) have tested multiple loyalty tools, including punch cards, special events, and communication tools, with eleven farmers markets in the Pioneer Valley to determine how they impact customer satisfaction, customer count, and overall enthusiasm about shopping at farmers markets. Devon Whitney-Deal will join us to present on the findings of their studies and to share best practices for your market. Come jump-start your thinking about how to grow market sales for next year! Market managers, staff, steering committees and volunteers welcome! A light supper will be provided. Please RSVP.
