With the regular market season coming to a close, it’s time for feedback, questions and troubleshooting regarding your experiences during this first season of HIP, the Healthy Incentives Program. If you were a farmer or market manager participating in HIP this year, please join us on December 7th! The HIP Forum will be immediately followed by a presentation and training on Incentive Programs for Farmers’ Markets. We encourage all farmers’ market managers, staff and steering committee members to stay and learn about programs to boost sales at your market next year! More info here.
Thursday, December 7, 5:00 – 6:30 pm
The Lee Library, 100 Main St, Lee
Please join us to review the first season of HIP, discuss successes and challenges, share best practices and existing resources, ask any questions you have, and discuss what your market or farm needs to ensure HIP’s success in its second year. We’ll be gathering feedback to improve and strengthen the program moving forward, answering existing questions, and using the information gathered to shape additional HIP training later in the off-season. This event is intended for farmers’ market vendors, farm staff, market managers, and volunteers working directly with HIP at farmers’ markets, farm stands, and CSAs. All market and farm folks working directly with HIP are encouraged to attend. Snacks and light supper will be provided. Please RSVP.
