MDAR is now accepting applications for the Ag Food Safety Improvement Program (AFSIP).
The goal of the AFSIP grant is to support produce and aquaculture operations that are looking to upgrade their food safety practices that work towards minimizing the risk of microbial contamination and food-borne illnesses, meet regulatory requirements, and improve market access.
AFSIP is a competitive, reimbursement grant program that funds 80% of total project costs up to $50,000.
Applications are due by 4:00PM on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.
