Is your marketing strategy “we sell whatever we have to anyone that will buy it”? This is an example of a “one size fits all” approach to marketing that no longer works in the modern marketplace. Refine your practices to make the most of the time you have for marketing.
The goal of the Strategic Marketing for a Stronger Business workshop is to help you develop and then implement a marketing strategy – a plan that helps you make decisions so that every effort you make to market your products counts. This workshop will benefit both those of you with experience who want to sharpen and focus your marketing skills as well as anyone who doesn’t know where to even begin to develop a marketing plan. You will learn practical tips and tricks. You will learn how to define and serve your core customers. You will learn how to customize special offers and promotions. This workshop will be different from previous Berkshire Grown workshops on marketing, so if you have attended those sessions, be sure to come to this one because Matt LeRoux, the Ag Marketing Specialist from Cornell Cooperative Extension, brings strategic thinking plus concrete how-to ideas for you to adopt in your own marketing. Marketing is the key to sales and crucial to building a strong business!
